Barely caught the bus(Didn't have time to stop at 7)Seen Bob from Soli(He works for Snowbird Adaptive Ski School)"Aren't you in the wrong Canyon?"?? Seen many friends(The Nerd center is very Busy!) Ran into Cain and Jake (Lets hit the Shack)YEA!!! We skied Gad 2 (Both the Boys hit Major AIR!!!) Including Jake Hitting a 25-30 footer...WOW! Later I seen Ted(Lets hit the Trees) THX TED!! We went on to Close   Little BIG Cloud and G-Zoom...Best run was when they finally opened the Fun Park, The Creamy dreamy was Soooooo Goooood!! Busy bus down,Biked back home...

Didn't care to catch the bus,Rode to Andys in a storm...Stopped at the 7,Started hitching from Top of Ft Union,Got a ride to the mouth from SLC utility"I can take you to LCC Too?"Nice, Got a ride from B Ski guy from VA...He told me the Winterstick Story and Alta...Rode the blades alone all day...Almost too much snow?? Bus down was an adventure,Met a former Nerd PS Guy, Nice But how did he know me??BCC Mike"What the F do you do with Those?"Do I need to Explain AGAIN!!And "Whats your TGR Tag?" Slaag Bastard! And Met Mike from the Pizza place,"I seen you rocking the Blades" and "Do you know Craig too?" Yes I do...He got jacked by the 992 driver saying she don't go to the 9400 P&R???? Nice ride down after a 960 Exclusive came!!! Pretty harsh and COLD Day...Tomorrow? Fun AND Sun at the Nerd!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!Powder Panic followed by THE BEST CARVERS of the Season!!!Caught the loser 960 Bus to the mouth of BCC..."Are you going to Alta or Snowbird?" Yes "Can I follow you?"Sure...Just stand right there and Hitch, You'll be on your way before I come out of the 7-11...Sure enough! I knew it,I didn't even have time to look back and I get a ride to the Mouth.Thx Chelsea,Georgette and Caroline plus One!Again I didn't even turn around and I'm on my way,THX Alex(Alta Skier)Catch the Tram(BUSY)Hi Wilma(First time this year)Mineral and Road to Provo Closed sooo LITTLE BIG CLOUD!!It was Great!!Mineral opens(BUSY)So I ride Blady until its time for POWDER PANIC on Road to Provo...THX JAY!!I hate it when there are 200 Powder pushers in your way!!!Back to my lift, Run into Ron"Lets go to the Spot!" THX RON!!! My Lift closed early so its a CARVE ALERT on G_Zoom...And it really was the best Snow so far this season!!!!!!!!(Sneaky Petes and the Fun park opened for the First time this season!!)Back to the spot, then we are in a hurry to catch the Bus...OMG I left the Blades out! Lucky I got off at Creekside and just got on the red Bus...It didn't take long so I was able to recover and get to Andys to ride my bike home in the Freezer(ITS COLD!)WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rode a FULL Bus up...Met up with Scott and Jeff in the brown bag area...SNOW!! It was BAD!!Seen Meredith in her Not-To-Brighton Uniform...Looking Good!Seen and met with Eric,He gave me a ride down all the way to Andys...We had a Beer at Aregenta(Thx Scott for this and the Sand witch)Seen the Boys and Erin(Travis C,Matt and Roach)Glad this day was over!!!!!Andy has BEADS for us!!!Rode my bike home in 6" of Snow!!!

Day 22 "Walt Saturday"

Biked all the way to Walts,(First time this seaswon)He was outside getting ready to go up?! Got a ride and we rode together all day!!Seth from Powder Shots liked the Spread Eagle"You been stretching?"He He!! Also ran into and got another beer from the Boy Scout!!"We seen and always take notice when you are rocking the Blades!" THX! Day 19 Monday@ the Nerd

Woke up at Andys and took my gear with me(Doberman boots and Good Naked Skis)Could have went to either Soli or the Nerd(Its good to have choices) Went to the Nerd with the idea of changing out Skis and bring down booth the Blades and 123s for repair...Trying to figure out why there is no room in the locker...F*&$ing Bros taking up 2/3 of the room...Pissed!!Ran into and skied with Ed(Lets go past Powdershots!!)He insisted on buying a 12 pack for Ron and I!!Thx Ed! Funnie,We ran into Rick and Quinn from Ski Patrol...Rick says"Q didn't believe you wear a Hannah Montana helmet?" YUP!Gotta smile and a High Five...Q"Be careful out there,You and your CRAZY Friend"...THX!

Day 18 Soli Sunday

Andy and I arrive to a pretty full lot and still park near Marcs truck,We only took a few runs until we ran into and ride with Marc on Triplehorn(We all hit the bead tree!!) headed down to watch the Broncos win and better was the Niners winning @the Cheaters!!

Day 17 Powder Panic!!

Woke up at Andys to about a foot of Snow!!!Caught the 07:38 FULL BUS!! Ron was already at the Locker, Down to the spot,Ed from Boston was already there! Walt joined us on his Board?!It was a Powder panic even before we hit the lift(Gadzoom was down,everyone was on Mid-Gad,Then it opened and you know!!)Walt joined us here...On to Little Proud! It was busy and SOOO DANG GOOD!!later we are one of the first into Mineral Basin(Miserable B)Walt slide out and Over a large clump of Rocks...OUCH!He was fine,Whew! Same run he was riding very well down some untraxedddd it was good!!Later Ron gets ahead of us,We hear him blowing from the lift, Walt and I waited until we hear him again...Whistle time!!!Funny hearing people on the lift cracking up as we Whistle back and forth!!!Time to ride down into P-Dawg and hit the spot, Ran into Travis B,By the time I hit the spot the Boys are gone?! I ride down on the 11:58 and meet a Very nice lady from New Zealand (Annie) First thing she said is"I seen you riding hard in MB!" Thx!!

Day 14 "220 Red Light?!"

Walked to the end of Spring Lane,220 comes right away,Tap on RED? What? This is my Bus and Its also a Ski Bus Feeder.He let me on...This Suxs...Got off at 9400,P/U Beer at Walgreens, Catch the Bus up the road,Theres Ron AND Paula!! Ron called when he said take the Bigger Skis out...So I took the Tip and Tail covers oFF and road the 123s NICE!! We run into TED first run!!!!YEA! We get caught up on what we did over the summer plus he wants to go to the Spot!!Thats where we run into TY!! Later we run into and he joins us Chris from work! He wants to stack the Salad!!! THAT WAS COOL!!! Nice Pow all over plus we took a Photo with Powder shots posse!!! We all took the bus down to Tys truck at the Mouth where we went to Rons...He was holding at home then Ty took me all the way home...VERY GOOD DAY!!!!!

Day 13"First Bus Up"

Woke up at Andys, He didn't want to go up sooooo,BUS UP!!caught it right as it was at the intersection!!! One other rider who was going to the nerd,got off at the mounth,HE HE,Got off bus and was ready to go! Seen Pekka at Triplehorn,Stashed my bag there and took a bunch of laps on the BEAM! The Skis are riding SO DAM GOOD!!We ride together at his break and run into Pharis( I seen you from the Top of Moonbeam way up on your run coming down!) Thx Scott...Stacked Salad and a ride down,Plus we went to Chuck-o-Rama,Then to Eric's then all the way home!!! Great day!!

Day 12"Ski Connection"

Put my Skis in for Service at my Shop, Eric took care of everything!Gave me a "Alta's Dumb" T-Shirt plus charged 1/2 price for the Remount and Excellent Dull tip and tail plus WaX!!!Oh Yea!!Andy took me by the shop to P/U skis (He never been to MY SHOP!!!)He liked it! We pull into the parking lot and park next to Marc...CARVE ALERT!!!We Only took 5 Runs but as Marc said "ITS WORTH IT"!So much fun skiing with your best friends and another 50 or so on the Mt!!(Seen Cynthia's truck but not her!) Last run down Concord......YES!! Hit it the same way I always do....HARD AND FAST!!!!!!!!!Gettin lots-o-YEAS!!!

Day 11 OnePiece Friday

Dec 8th 2012...Started from Andys,Took up the Blades!! Walked to the Mouth where I ran into Rob(He was going to Soli...But decided to go to the Nerd after seeing ME!!!)Ran into Tyler,(THX TY!!!)Plus Chris,,He join us at penguin point! Later the Cain Posse and then Ronniee, He came late but got the pleasure of meeting Steve and 2 Ladies at the SPOT!!We Took one Tram...That was it for me(Skied a REALLY HARD RUN near old ladies) Ran into Jay and a New Photo Gal(He is SOOOOO Nice to Me!!!!) I hitched from the road for the first time ever,Got a ride all the way down to the Liquor store!!THX D from Wisconsin!! Rode home from Andys...

Dec 6th 2012...Got the Newer Computer fixed!!! Headed to Andys after this,Walked up to 70th, Walked to the top of Butler, Got a Ride all the way to the Nerd Center(Thx D)Ran into Ron and Walt on the Plaza(First run) We took a couple or Tram rides(Walt and Ron both took videos or Old Ladies) Then Walt take us down( I got Ron and I 2 Whopers,55 Cent Special!!) Walt took me close to Andys where I spent the nite(After trying to stay up for Raiders Vs Broncos) Can't believe I didn't know this game was coming up!?

Waking up in the room,What a pleasure!! NFL all day(Only took one run due to Soreness) I forgot about the College games from Yesterday...booth 1&2 Loose...Oregon to Stanford and K-State to Baylor???...Later Cain and Jeff find us in the Spa and Come and Party with us!! THX for the 420 Alertersss... Later we hit the Tram Club But...Sunday night it closes early ): Soo They leave...

3rd Day 11-17-12

Saturday Got up late(Checked into our cliff room early!) Only took one G-Zoom due to soreness...I forgot about being at the spot Friday late, hearing Ron Whistles from the road...That was very COOL! I ttok us to Dinner at the El Chante,STEAK! It was GOOD! We seen Rons Son Daniel there, They gave us the Royal treatment!! Took alot back to the room ehere I crashed and Ron went to the SPA!!Nice Day/Night...

2nd day on Slopes 11-16-12

First day at The Nerd...Thx for the ride up(B and Bill) Bill from Soli/Snowbird(lifetime pass holder and lives in Silver Fork) Skiied the Big feet...Kinda sucked when I did a couple of Face plants/Due to too soft of Snow...Seen lots of friends including Chris from Work and Cains Posse with Ronnieee...Thx Ron for Jamming the Locker making it so I almost couldn't open IT!!Got a ride down rite away,Maybe 2 cars go By,To the Mouth,Started walking,...Jeff stops and Picks me up(2nd time!!THX)Walked from Bcc mouth to Andys...Fell asleep right away(I thought I broke my Collar bone?Its SOOOOOOO Sore,but I think its just Tear or Bad bruise,I'll be OK.) LONG DAY

With Ron,Scott and Phil(He Picked us all up) I took and Rode my Sled Dogs, They worked very well on Lower Little Dollie where the Cats had gone up and Down. Karl was serving Mixed Cocktails,G the Mikes, Bill Jon Ted Jason where all there to see/Hear Ron and I blowing Whisltes and me skiing Down HARD! That was FUN! Later we went to the Village,Phil and Scott got Weds passes, I added Tues-Thurs!!( Jan 22 is demo day for the ORA,TUE )Weds is Fog,PoSSe and BLADE Day!! Nov.15 Opening day is a Thursday! While in the Office we met a Couple Getting their passes Too"Your Burke, Our Kids love You and will be Excited Your Back!?" Yup!Its good to be Home!

October Fest W/Ron

Woke up at Ronnies(That was Great,Thx Ron,Phil and Even Steven)Hes Back!!We ride up to the Mouth and Hitch up with our Bikes(It too awhile but we found a full size Truck to get us Up)Thx Jeremy and Andrew(This was to be the last try)First to the Spot(Ron say this is home!)And it IS!!He Built his Storage Box and I Organised the Rest of the Crates into a Dance Floor/Storage Space Below...We leave our Bikes and Tools here and head out to the Liquor Store(Beer Locked up Due to Festival... Had to hit the Cliff?)Ron Picked Up His PASS!!YEA!! Then we Took a Lap P-Dawg(NICE)TRAM CLUB Is next...4x$5.00 Speacils(We Walked in right as the First Games where ending,Whiners Loose in Minn...)Lastly we Had Dinner at the Bistro...EXCELLENT!!We Ride our bikes down into the Sunset,Ron back to Sandy and I head to Holladay....WOW!!

Finally left and rode to In-n-Out Via Danish and Creek Roads,Got home around Sunset...Took Curts Beads For Good Luck...

We lost a Legend...From now on ALL SUNDAYS ARE FOR CURT!!Its a CARVE_A_LERT!! "Curtis Wesley Lipke 1954-2012 Curtis Wesley Lipke, 58, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away August 3, 2012 in his home surrounded by family and friends, after a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer that lasted three years and eight months. During that time, he not only found ways to have a wonderful quality of life, but also was an inspiration to everyone he encountered. His strength of mind, body and spirit carried him through his battle. Curt was born July 6, 1954, and raised in Buffalo, New York, in a family of four brothers and one sister, with loving caring parents, Dr. Ken and Patricia Lipke, who taught them principled values and a strong work ethic. Curt graduated from Clarence Central High School. An avid competitor and extreme athlete most of his life, Curt realized in his early teens that he had a tremendous passion for skiing. He quickly perfected those skills and became a ski instructor at Bluemont Ski Area outside of Buffalo. It was only fitting that skiing should play a major role in his decision about college, which took him to the University of Utah amidst some of the best skiing in the country. Curt's love for skiing and his fondness for Utah made it difficult to return to Buffalo after graduation in business studies at the University of Utah, but he went back and joined his family business, then called Gibraltar Steel Corporation. He applied himself diligently to his career and worked his way to become divisional president. The company was publicly traded in 1983 and Curt was elected to the Board of Directors. His love of skiing and Utah were always on his mind and, receiving some good advice from his mother, he decided to follow his dream and return to Salt Lake City. Curt was always very athletic and competitive, and in addition to skiing and ski racing, he thrived on endurance sports, competing in triathlons and taking second place in the World Seniors Games. His passions also included mountain bike races, road races and foot races. He spent many years enjoying the outdoors and participating in everything from riding his Harley to jumping doubles on his motor cross bike. He is a graduate of the Skip Barber and Spring Mountain Race Car Driving Schools. Many marveled at his ability to continue competing and winning events during his battle with cancer. One of his many mottos was, "Pain is just weakness leaving the body." Doctors at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital, where he received treatments, often called on Curt to speak with other patients. He was able to provide support and guidance and to demonstrate that, yes, you can have a high quality of life even while battling cancer. He took great pride in helping other patients. Curt is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Mulkey, his mother, Patricia Lipke, brothers Neil (Shannon), Eric (Janine), Brian (Debbie) and sister Meredith, nieces Carlisle, Katie, Elissa and Erica, nephew Kenneth, and canine kids Sally and Alvin. Curt was predeceased by his father, Dr. Ken Lipke, and his stepdaughter Lauren Elizabeth Mulkey. Curt and Linda were two angels, drawn together to help each other survive some of the greatest challenges life can bring us, including the sudden death of Linda's daughter Lauren and Curt's journey with cancer. Together they enjoyed life to the fullest with their dogs, skiing, trips to Las Vegas, and sharing their lives with so many friends. Lauren absolutely adored Curt, as did all of her friends. They have stayed in Curt and Linda's life and remained close throughout Curt's illness. The family wishes to extend tremendous thanks to all of the dedicated doctors and staff at the Huntsman Cancer Center and the huge outpouring of care, concern and love from their friends. Curt knew what it took to be a friend, and because of that, he had many. He will be forever in our hearts. A memorial service to celebrate Curt's life will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, in the Courage Theatre, Jewett Center, at Westminster College, 1840 South 1300 East, Salt Lake City. Curt requested that everyone who attends, please wear bright-colored or Hawaiian shirts. Mammoth day 5,Back to SLC

Wake up Early and Clean the Big House,Ron"That was fun cleaning up the Main house" OK? It wasn't bad Jamming to KMMT and All the Cool hits they play while cleaning up...Finally we take a bike ride,Up the road to the Panorama cutoff where we stop and chill on the Bench.Ron,"Wow, this is BEAUTIFUL!"Come out at Twin Lakes to ride the NEW Bike Path!!We ride up to the waterfall and over to the end of the Path(CO2Zone at Horse shoe lake)Ohh kinda scary!!Back down to twin Lakes and all the way down to town(What a great Path!)We get Carls and then back up.Ron,"Theres the Bus" I say we keep going and that's when Ron realize how close we really are to town...Time to load and Go...):...Ron wants to keep looking for Sibian,(Obsibian)No time, Glad we did't cause we seen 3 groups of Wild Horses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOW,It SETS MY SPIRIT FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Home by 12:00

Mammoth Day 4,133, Last Ski Day

We bused up no Problem!!Today,PINK TIGHTS and Matching top/Headband plus Hannah Helmet!Oh Yea,Ron"I'm bringing my camera cause today you'll get Triple Grinded!!We got to watch Big Larry and his Triple FLAGS!!!Tons of Hi's and Ohhs!!!Skied Climax on the Big Feet...BUMPS!!Alexus and I agree that Scott is the "Mayor or Mammoth!"Snowball fight was on again,First its hit the Gondi Cars(I laugh everytime I hear all the BOOMS and bangs!!)Then Its On...Big Snowball FIGHT!!(I got nailed pretty good in the face, Sun glasses may be done?)"You look like a Cartoon walking around in the Big feet" HA HA!Funny walking through the crowd and Up the stairs getting pummeled the whole time!!Last run down I almost cried, I LOVE SKIING/Being in Mammoth...Scott was happy when I said "Ron and I will clean up" That meant he could go and not have to worry about paying a cleaning crew...THX FOR EVERYTHING SCOTTY!!!!!!!!!!

Mammoth Day Two "131 Ski Day"

Scott,Ron and I get up early and get to the slopes by 07:30 to secure a party spot in the POP UP Camper"Party Central"!Great job SCOTT!!It was Soo Cold and the Snow Was HARD!!I Got a 3 Day Pass and Ron got the Hook up from Scotty,THX!!Pete and Ron join us later with all the Goods(He got the No One spot as Usual!)ITS PARTY CENTRAL IN SCOTT'S TRUCK!!We had a great time skiing together as a Party Posse and 123 Posse!!!After skiing Pete and Ron had to Go Home(I though i was going to cry ):...(Ron let me know whats up with B and JIM?)FT...Alexus joins us and we hit the Village(Ron and i where to far behind and forgot where they were going...So he hit the Hyde Lounge,Ron gave beads and I gave away my Cow Bell"I think i'm supposed to see something?"AND WE DID!!!HOLY SHIT!!!!! Much later we Hit the Tap room, Ron played alot of Pool, Scott is talking to EVERYONE!Big Larry and Marc,Later Walt and Louder Walt(Carl)Join us...The Bouncer keeps telling me to stay awake and don't blow the Whistle...?Finally Ron gets Booted cause he was tossing Pool balls while another group was playing...?We walk home, All was well until I realize we are walking the WRONG way pass Snowcreek's driving range...WHOA!(Kinda like Bear Valley when we ended up on the wrong side of Hyw 4)...Ronniee told me what is happening with "B" WTF!!!

WOW,Ron and I drive out Thursday...Camped up in Casa Diablo,Woke up to find we are in an Old Indian Camp with Grinding Stone holes and lots of Simbian(Ron calls Obsidian this?!)After coffee we head to town and Scott's...There's Pete's van in the driveway along with Ronniee, They stayed in the Main House(Loving It)Its Party time!!Pete Brought us lots of Naked Stuff,Excellent Moonshine and Hommiee Brew(Wild Drinks!!)Pete also share this...He went to a Concert and Met his Best Band"B Foundation" who are playing with "Tribal Seeds" who play my Theme Song,After Sharing some Moonshine he got them to sing my song,Singing my Name!!"Burke,Put your Two Lungs to Work" WOW!!THX PETE(He also said skip paying for the 2 pairs of Naked Skis, Just be more active in Advertisisng OUR COMPANY!!)YES I WILL!! Today was Phil's day...He picked me up,Dropped me off(Plus Ron and Travis D.Too) and helped organize a Huge Posse!!Plus Plus!!!First run down into MB we see Ron and Travis D. on the Chair...Posse Point!!!Next to join us is TRAVIS C.!!!(Stacked Salad!!)We had a great time skiing all over MB,Next we hit Bra Point for more snacks!!!Later Phil's 2 friends join us (Kinda)We end up ripping it up on Little Proud...Then down into Gad Valley where it is now Backcountry Skiing...(Skipped Peru alltogether Again!!)

Day 125 Super(MOON) Sunday

Got to Ski with Alta, the Girls,Hoppy and JIMMIEEE!!Seen Travis B.(Thx for the Pic!)Travis D with his wife Wendy and Friend,Lee and Alan plus Lots of other Friends...Tele Jody said she was the one who yelled Ron and I's name when we skied Door One and got the necklaces...She thought it was dangerous??Also didn't like us taking necklaces from Doobies Tree?Meaning we hit it up everyday...(His Board is too big!)It was still pretty cold last run down...Went by Welbere,The Boxes are falling over...Got off the Mt pretty late, Went by In-N-Out and Storage, Arrived home after 20:00!!

Me and Walt ended our day eating at the El Chanate on May 5th...Started COLD,Ended still COLD!Walking at the Top of the Tram was TOO FUNNY!!Twice I could hear them Talking and Laughing out LOUD!!Got handed a Nice Beer plus found 2 PBR,s(Waiting for Ron on Monday)

Back on the Mt after 4 days off(Worked in Moab)Biked to Bus, Bike on Bus...Finally!!Ron also biked onto Bus(He had to move his bike,They moved the rail he was locked onto...)Kinda Cold day,MBX Was great in the AM,Little proud was also Excellent...Peru,Not So Good(Sat,I'm staying on Little Proud)Ron and I hanging out @The Tunnel,Its Nice, Warm and NO WIND!!Some employee Posse's came by and Said Hello, Also a season pass holder from 3 seasons ago at Soli says"Don't you Ski Solitude?"Used to?!Now I'm a Nerd, Last run down was Funny, The Local Pros seen Ron and I and Didn't know what to do or say...Just say your a NERD TOO!!!!

Day 122 P-Dawg is BACK!!!

YES!!Its Sooo Much Better when she runs....Sat Am started with Haters,7-11"I need to catch a Bus @07:05" OK so I give him the Money before the Beer case is open, At 07:00 he sends his friend"CARL?" to open up, First he goes in the bcak and has to be yelled to open up, then he opens the wrong case and can't get the key to work...DF So I grab a Warm 18er and tell the clerk "Thanks alot?"The Bus was running 30 mins late and I though maybe These Dummies made me miss it?It came finally!!At park n ride a worker gets on and ask"What time is the Bus to be here?"Very Rudly!!!The driver was new and asked if we pass by the mouth of BCC?NO!!We get to the Mt by 08:05 or so not bad, I get a grooming report and see that the Tunnel AND P-Dawg are OPEN!!!!!!!!!!CARVE ALERT IN MB!!Seen Jason from Soli(With all the other PSIA Nerds in Yellow,) Also they were testing k2 Skis?"Made In China?"Had a good time seeing Travis, Brett, Carlos and Doug over in MB...Also ran into WALT!!Yes, We hit the deck for BEER and then its back over To MBX(THX for the pics in the Tunnel!)Ended hanging out at Walts Car, Then riding down to the Creek and Hanging out there even longer..."I seen you moving those Blades, I wish My hips moved like that!?"A VERY FUN AND STILL PRETTY COLD SAT!!!

All day long with our packs stashed at the JZ Guntower...Got a ride up with Andrew(Again)Seems like I knew it,Walked from Walts towards Wasatch when I hear Andrew call my name and ask me to ride up with him and his friend...YES!!!Ron and I catch the Bus back down again(Bike on Bus)It was still very hard at 10:30,but got real nice when it warmed up(It was sooo soft that I bit it hard in front of the PSIA Nerd Posse...If your not falling your not trying?!)...He He...Rode with Ty and Marc(They had a Bottle of Vodka that Ron was Really enjoying...)Last run I walked up from Little Proud to meet the last Tram(Had to Stop and Rest at the Ski Patrol)They asked If I'm "OK?"Yea,"That's Just Burke,He is Fine."Thx, Its good to know everyone on the Hill!!!

Day 119 TRAM

Only the Tram gets you up and out...Thx Ted and Andrew for the ride up...Got off the Bus to hear some Cow Bells so I whistle...The boys are headed up Too,Meet them at the Smiths, lock up my bike and catch a ride up...We stop so i can grab some stuff from the spot,THX TED!!!Then its off to the tram deck...There's Ron!We ride the Blue tram(Kristy says"This is like your 6th Tram all year?")Yup...Snow was already soft,So we hit the JZ tree,Thx to Ted we also share with Marc and Ty...Kinda sad cause this was Ted and Marcs last day on the Slopes(Both going back east)Ted was shown and showed us the new crate Stop(VERY NICE!!)Not Ron and I's But we will see you this summer...Last run we come down towards the beach but ended up coming down the VERY STEEP Welbere chutes!!!Ron and I took the Bus down(Ron put his bike on the Bus)Another Excellent day!!!!!!!

Yup,Alta...Met Marc at the Shop At07:30,Loaded up our display and got to Alta Before 08:30.After Set up I get our pass, Hitch to Snownerd, Wanted to take the tram over to blady and threw the Gates BUT it was TOO Busy so I went all the way around and finally got to go into Alta...First time EVER,Back down to our Place so that Marc can go...Got back out met Blake,Tracy,Dana,Joel,Allen and Others(Missed Alta)Got back to the shop About 16:00 or so

Met,Hook up and Get a Ride up from Phil...THX PHIL!!Get to the locker and theres Ted waiting to go to the Spot,LETS GO!!We seen Ron Rippin it under G-Zoom!!We meet up with him and later with Ty, Phil and Esteven...Hit the spot again...Yup, Thx Ty and Marc....We finally Rode down Door 3.....WOW"Thats the same rope that was here 20 Years ago?!" Down to Stash My bag in the Trees above the Fogs...Theres Ron,G,John,Dav for 10:30 Drink Off(Bloody Mary)Thx Team!Skied down to Double(Theres Steve B and Keaton!)AND TRAVIS!!!!!YES!!!!!!!!Now its on...We rode over to Summit to see Pekka....There he is coming out of Bottom shack,Gettin me to stop on Deer Trail...Great kid!!On to APEX>>>Put Your Hands in the AIR!!!"I've Been Missing doing this all year!"YES! Where to Start??At the Dummy Downhill...FREE PIZZA AND PEPSI'S!!! Thx to Jody and Andrea for pointing this out...Fun dancing and making some perfect turns in front of the crowd and Groomers!!At one point we had the Whole Posse in the House!!Mark(THX For the Vanilla Vodka!!)Ty(THX for the spot in the Woods B-4 DD!!)Esteven,Brenden and Ronieeee!!!FUN,BEST DAY SO FAR!!Took 2 more boxes down and Shells...Andrea"I WANT THAT!"Its yours,We bring more shell's down for Jody and the other lifties...Under the Mid-Gad and G-ZOOM the snow was SOOOOOOO SOFT!!!It was saysing "I'm Ready now!!"

Day 107 Sunny/Sat!!

I LOVE THE 220/992 SAT SERVICE!!ITS EASY!!!Funny Thing happened at the Freestyle event...BLADES!!!First 2 go rounds I only walked...Heard the PA Guy say"Hummm,We got a Blader walking behind us,He HE!!!2nd, not so funny when I fall down"I meant to do that?!"YEA RIGHT Right? 3rd time I get IT!" Here Comes Blade Guy again, Show us a Trick."Just at that moment I pull a 180 and ski away Backwards!!!One of the Highlights of the Season!!Later Ted says "It looked like you and the PA guy where part of the Show/Activity!" Love/Loved It!!Ended the day skiing with that Gal that also blades...Little proud all the way to the bottom of Welbere!!!And the SUN was out all day long!!!

Never happened...Got up late...Started the day at the C.U.,Then took the Machetes over and paid for storage(System down,Left cash with Tabitha who will mail my receipt...)Then back home where I get the other 2 Course SL Skis and take to Andys..Only 10 mins to spare to catch the 11:33 990...On the Mt and over to Welbere where I see Rons pack and leave mine to catch G-Zoom and Little Cloud...Mineral was good for 1 Run...Back to Reg Johnson(CREAMY/DREAMY!)The Blades where killin IT! Next run under the chair, I here Rons Whistle....Its Ted and Ron at the top...We Ski One more then its Welbere time...Ended the day meeting Steve and Gal from Tampa on the Plaza...He even got a Tall PBR for Ron and I!!!!Ron and I ended the day riding down again!!!

Big Mt...Small Skis...Thx Robert for the Cow Bell!He Laughed Hard after I do the Walk and Loved the Bump Motions riding up to him(No One skis like that!!)We watched the Big Mt Comp.That was COOL...Skied under Welbere with most of the Ski School Instructors riding up,Hearing my name called from the lift while holding poles in one hand and a rock for the spot in the other...Hittin the Bumps HARD!!!Later Ski Patrol says"People don't realize how hard those are to Ride!@!Thx!!Ron and I got some necklaces,Got another box and complete shell cases for Welbere...Brought the Cain team over to the spot so we could fix their poles and get some Creed from the Kids...Ended on the Plaza talking to Julia,WAIT,WHAT "Do I want a BEER?"YYEESS!!!Randon rider knows I LOVE BEER SOOOOO"YES!"Julia also Gave me A beer(Sierra&Blue Moon!!)THX JULIA...She So nice to ME!! Ron and I ride up 220/992...Ride down on the 992 all the way to Trax and then walk to storage(got there at 17:55) MADE IT!!Sunny/Warm Day,1/2 day on the 123's,1/2 on the Blades!!Seen Jen and her friend Michelle Snowshoeing all the way to the top(Via STEEP REG JOHNSON)Ron and Travis got 2 more Crates(NICE)We had a Jr Posse but kept Loosing Bodies Including Me....Tom says he has another set of Blades?>>>...Hummmm Great day

Ski day never came

Took Mom to Church(She went to all 3 sessions)met her for Sacrament...After Church I have Plenty of time to catch the 220/992 Get to the Park-n- ride lot to find Brenden Waiting for the 13:10 that never came...962 comes threw "Its running late, It will be here"LIAR!!!Lucky b-4 the Hourly 220 pulls out we ask "Whats Up with the 992 running 20 mins late?"Rider on Bus Says"He Received a Text that the Canyon is Closed until 16:30, He is going home instead of Work." What? Its Sunny and Warm...WTF?? First day this season of getting shut out......Came home to Chill with Pretty Girl, Eat a lot and still pass out before 20:00...

Still Stormy...We have had 4 Days in a row of Snow(More then 8")Pleasant Bus Ride up...Seen Travis on my way to Welbere(He is on his way to Big Emma)At the Spot I put the Blades On(They are FUN!!)Stay on G- Zoom until Lunch...Then Launch over to P-dog where I get a hug from Julia(YEA!!)End at the Spot where I leave the Blades hidden and Catch the 4:20,990 down...

Bus adventure...992 pick me up then turned back to Highland Dr to Bengal Blvd and finally pass the swamp lot and up into hardcore traffic...we even skipped the mouth park-n-ride...Catch Ron on G-zoom plus Walt,Marc and Brian...Then we catch Tyler and head to the black Forest where we Loose B but catch Julia...AGAIN!!Loved the Comment"We seen You Dancing down the slopes on your short Skis"....Talk about Pow...We have gotten 13,then 14 last night 6...Now we have 106 on the ground and close to 300 for the year

It sucked!!Seen Jimmiee Hiking up and at the top but didn't make it up to little proud...We did Ski with the Posse on Gad 2 Twice(We seen Travis riding down , he wanted us to line up on the Jumap and he'll take a Photo of Ron and I!!!Plus coming down under Gad 2 we also got our Photos taken..."Come on down, After You two I'm Out!"

Ride up with Steven on the 08:10 990,We beat Ronnie up,He shows a bit later and Its off to Peruvian,Tunnel then the MBSS,We only took one run,Then we head down to G-Zoom...There we find Marc and ty with new Boards(They booth broke their Boards on Friday?!)We also find Travis(ON THE BLADES>>>ROCKING IT!!!)At noon we head down for lunch, I switched back to the Blades,Now its ON...We stayed on P-dag the rest of the day,"Witch way do you want to go?" Under the chair is always the same answer....Bus down, I miss the 16:20(Ron made it by Seconds) I'm good to hang and catch the 992 doen for lunch/Dinner at Bk(2 for 1 Chicken Sanbows, Very Good!)Very Fun Riding the Blades W/T!!!

Woke up at Scott's,Rode my bike home...Took Mom to Church,After I ride my bike to the 220,Catch the 992 w/no minutes to Spare(Not time for Beer,Soooo)Locked bike at the Plaza...Ride P-dog to MBss...Line on the MBX so its over to Little Proud for 2 then Top-o-GZoom where I run into Brett(Lets hit the Trees for a Stacked Salad!!)Nice ride down for 1 then done...At the Plaza Bowen Says"Hey Burke,I was in the Big Mt Comp today, Maybe I'll win Something?"Great Kid!Justice in his Devo Coat says"Burke, we miss you at Solitude!"Thx, I love this Ski Family!Travis says he's riding the Blades Monday,And "Do I need a ride down?"Thx but I'm riding down...Also seen Boston George"Do you know who I Am?"No But... Beautiful Day!!!Ron and I Start on P-dog to Mineral...It was Busy!(Ron got pulled over and talked to about the crash he had by Ski Patrol Super,Glad Ted was there to back him up and point out witnesses and that she hit Ron...) We seen Ted and Steven from the Lifts, They both join us for first round of Posse Plus...Thx Ted!!!!(Ron Took a Crazy Spill off the Top of Lupine Right off the Edge of the Cat Track and Into Some Trees and Cliffs...Whoa...Not only was he OK he Hiked back up to us so we could still ride the Basin!!!We rode over to Little Proud for round 1..."Lets find Ty,Top of Gadzoom,"And we did...Plus Bonus Rider Julia joins us!!"Ty,Lets Hit Black Forest for You know What?!"THX TY(Round 2)We then take 3 Laps on Gad 2...Hitting a Kicker built by a kid that Didn't like us hitting it...What?(Had to let him know,Its my land and I'll destroy your jump if I choose too...PUNK!)Julia, Ron and I take another lap into Black Forest for round 3...(THX JULIA!)Ended our day on the 420 Welbere...DOUG Plus One!!!

Meet Ronnieee at the Nerd Center,He was on his way up...But waited for Me...We Head to the Welbere spot where I leave my pack and 9 Beers.(I Love Welbere Point)Down to Gadzoom where I give some beads out and we get a message that the snowboarders are looking for us!Thx Jr Steph...Next we run into Ty and Cassy,Then Ted and Marc join us...Black Forest!! Lower jump was so Soft I Biff it Hard,Oh Well!!!We catch Gad 2,First Run, Ron Ty and I all ride under the Lift(WOW its STEEP)next Gad 2 I say goodbye and Head back under the chair...WOW!!Thx to Seth for taking our Group Photo Right there coming out of the trees near Bassackwards!Very nice!Glad i left cause the snow was getting so wet it was really Rain...

Glad this day is done cause now its ON!!Busy Bus day(990 running 20 mins late)Pulling into BCC sucked!2 girls got on going to Brighton(Wrong bus, I told em,they got off after I said your welcome...Not-To-Brighton!!!)We start on P-Dag...There's Ty first thing!!We ride the front side first, Nice Bumps!(The Tram went down,causing a Big Line...We head over to mineral(Not bad but...)Back to Reg Johnson(We hit the Jr Wave....WoW!!)Finally to The Zoomer where we hear"You guys are the spirit of Skiing!","How many Photo's?","I LOVE THE LEVIS>>>ITS SO HOT!!"and a host yelling"Bliss Brothers"after we rocked the Bump Rocks...Love the NERD!!!

We got about 5" of Snow here at Home,Snowbird Reported only 2"...Took the 1st 220 up to Bengal Blvd,biked up too Walt's,Hitched from the Swamp lot(Tourists waiting for bus,Yup its at 11:40 or so?!)Hitched up(More then 50 cars went bye,Annoying!)Hide backpack at the Welbere spot...(I Hate The 191s BRO)Stayed on Gadzoom until I meet Jeff,Cain and Joe...Time to hit the Small hut...THX JEFF!!Back to Gadzoom where Amber is Stationed,I sing her song,Then she says "I can be her Energy!"Right in front of the Boyzzz...They really liked that as I did TOOOO(We talk about how much we LOVE the SnowNerd Girls!!) Next its P-Dog and More Girls Including JULIA(BIG HI AND YES!!!)I follow the Boys out to areas I've never Been...End at Welbere and a ride down on the 4:20,As I'm boarding the Bus,Lifty Sup Says "Come by the Tram/Lift Office,Tom brought the Blades for you, We have em but want to try them first!"Oh YEA!!Busy/Flat light but still Very Fun!!

Still No Sun...220 to 992 For the 08:45,There's Ronniee waiting for the Bus,He He...We Get up by 09:10 but hit the slopes at 10:15 or so(The Usual) I stash my backpack at Welbere Pointe(Not Bad)We run into Ty and Stephon at Gadzoom first run...Then Cassy joins our Posse with her friend...We ride the jump(New Spot) Gad gully was GROOMED!!WOW!!We are still hitting some of the STEEPEST RUNS on the Mt..Later I join Ron and Stepon in mineral,Again hitting the STEPPEST RUNS on that side too...I brought home the 176 Ninthwards(Now that Ron have the Big Bros theres not enough room)Just as well cause I LOVE MY NEW SKIS!!!THX PETE!!We catch the 16:50(Barely)Got off in Holladay @17:50 Another Great day(As Ronniee reminded me, "You wanted to go Home early today?")Glad I stayed it was another AWESOME DAY!!!

Woke up at Scotts,Took Trax to Trax to 7200 So.(990 Gone) Ended at 9800 Trax to catch the 992(Could have taken the 951 from downtown but....)Posse Day with Ronniee...Start with Ty,Travis joins us on a Board first, then switches to Skiis so we can hit the JUMP!!Not to mention the steepest of the steep!!Ended with Abraham(All great skiers and could ride with anyone but...)I did ride up the Tram Once,Seen Kate, Duckworh and Rick.(I love my Nerd Friends!!)Never got sunny but really not a bad day!!Today,VALENTINES DAY AT THE NERD!!

Beat Ron,Catch the 2nd Red Tram over to Mineral Basin,Find the MBSS with a Scenic Bench!Take 2 on MBEX then Reg(OUCH!)to the top of Gadzoom where i find the Ramp Posee at the top(Ron,Ty and Marc all riding the Ramp Skis)ITS ON!!Carve Alert!!They had the Family fun zone closed for racing(Airlines vs Airlines)About 13:30 they pulled the Rope(CARVE_O_LICIUOS!!)We had lunch in the locker room, headed back out to P_DAG Lots of Hi's and Thank God for the Quads(Even seen Dani,She always says HI!!)Tunnel to Mineral (2Runs) back down to the Zoomer and finally end on Little Proud!!AWESOME DAY
